Trevor Hitchcock

On 12 Jan 2022, SSA were distraught to learn about the sudden death of Committee Member Trev Hitchcock following the previous evenings game against Swindon at Field Mill. Trev was a founder member of Support Our Stags (SOS) and was a key figure in the merger with the Stags Supporters Club (SSC), who had split during very difficult times under a previous owner in the late 1990s, which led to the creation of the SSA in 2001. Trev was a lifelong Stags supporter and a familiar friendly face to a large number of Stags fans, a key member of the SSA he was the Associations Secretary and was involved in multiple SSA events to raise money for our club. Trev is deeply missed by all of us at SSA and of course by all his friends and family. As a tribute below is a gallery of Trev, click each for a larger image.
