SSA PLAYERS OF THE YEAR

Since the formation of the Stags Supporters’ Association (SSA) in 2002, the supporter’s player of the year award has been voted for annually by the membership. Up until 2000-01 The old Stags Supporters Club (SSC) membership likewise voted for their player of the year and awarded the Bramhall Shield. The shield was presented to the SSC by the family of the late Chairman, Arthur Bramhall.

The youth team player of the year was selected by the head coach of the youth team. The winner was awarded the Jack Retter Trophy, the trophy was named in honour of the late SSC President Jack Retter following his death in 1999.
